This Is Not a Government Office or Records Custodian. This is a privately operated reference site. We cannot obtain or certify a record, confirm a person’s address, or change an official roll or database. Send those requests to the custodian that holds the record. For an emergency, call 911. If you are being stalked or harassed, contact local police.
Route a Record Request
Use the custodian that holds the record. Common Upper Arlington routes are:
- Property, parcel, or recorded-instrument history: use Franklin County Auditor and Franklin County Recorder channels, not a city resident list.
- Historic directory volumes and past households: consult the Upper Arlington city directory collection routes at Columbus Metropolitan Library and Upper Arlington Public Library.
- City administrative records: contact the City Clerk through the City Administration public-records route.
- Police or Mayor’s Court records: use the separate Police and Mayor’s Court request route identified by the City.
- Records not online: make a focused request under the Ohio Public Records Act, R.C. 149.43, to the agency that keeps the record.
Upper Arlington City Clerk / Public Records: City Hall, 3600 Tremont Road, Upper Arlington, OH 43221; main line 614-583-5000. The City says the Clerk’s Office is responsible for timely filing of public-record requests and will fulfill requests in a reasonable time. For an administrative city-records request, call 614-583-5030 or use the City’s public-records route. For a permit-record question, the Permit Portal line is 614-583-5070.
Keep the City’s separate routes separate: ordinances, council material, permits, and similar City Administration records belong with the City Clerk process. A police, crash, or Mayor’s Court record belongs with the Police and Mayor’s Court request channel. The City’s Quick Links also provide archives, public documents, property-search, and GIS routes, but an online absence does not decide whether a record exists or is available.
